Connect Smartsheet with your own token
In Smartsheet, open Account › Personal Settings › API Access and generate an access token. Paste it into RTI. RTI encrypts it before storing it and never shows it again.

RTI checks the token with Smartsheet first.
The token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is stored, and it is never shown again. To use a different token, disconnect and connect again.

Connecting only confirms whose token it is. RTI reads your sheets in the next step, and writes nothing until you map the columns.
