For owner's reps and special inspectors
Independent proof, not just a signature.
You were hired to be the independent set of eyes. Your value is a record the owner, their counsel, and the AHJ can trust without taking anyone's word for it. RTI captures each inspection point behind a photo gate and seals it into a tamper-evident record that anyone can verify, so your findings stand on evidence instead of reputation.

What gets in the way, and what RTI does about it
Today
Your signature is only worth the trust behind it, and trust is exactly what is in dispute when something goes wrong.
With RTI
The record proves itself. Each item is photo-gated at the point of work and hash-chained, so an owner, their counsel, or the AHJ can confirm it was not changed after you signed, without taking your word or ours.
Today
The owner hired you to be independent, but the proof still lives in your inbox and your camera roll.
With RTI
Every inspection point is captured on the tag it belongs to and rolls into one verifiable turnover package the owner receives directly, not a PDF you assembled by hand the week it was due.
Today
Months later a defect surfaces and everyone argues about what was inspected, by whom, and when.
With RTI
Every action is written to an append-only log that hashes each entry over the last with SHA-256. Alter a record and every hash after it stops matching. The break is visible, permanent and dated.
Questions owner's reps and special inspectors ask
- How is this different from signing off on an inspection report?
- A signed report is only as good as the trust behind the signature. In RTI the record is photo-gated at the point of work and each entry is hash-chained, so an owner or their counsel can confirm it was not altered after you signed, independent of you and of us. Your independence becomes something a third party can check, not just assert.
- Can the owner and the AHJ see the record without an account to manage?
- Yes. You give them a portal login scoped to the projects you choose. It is read-only: they review the evidence and, where you want it, sign off, and every action lands on the same tamper-evident record your inspection is built from.
- Do I keep my records, and are they independent of RTI?
- You hold your own record. Every project exports as a verification package that a free, open tool checks offline, on its own, even if RTI no longer exists. Nothing about your proof depends on us staying in business.
